We will pick up and clean all types of rugs. Our
oriental rugs cleaning process is the modern version of
the way natural wool
fibers were cleaned throughout the centuries. We
normally start with dusting. We use a soft compressed air
and modern tools to lift the dust to the surface and out
of the rug. We do this on the front surface. We dust the
back then the front removing all the dry particles.
We
then test the rugs for color fastness and If needed,
apply a color block to lock in the color. The rug is
later submerged
in the fresh water bath where we actually hand wash the
rug, using gentle natural cleaners while continually
rinsing the rug
with fresh water. Rinsing is very important. We
thoroughly rinse the rug in order to remove any residue
making your rug look
and feel very clean. After the final rinse the rugs are
hung to dry.
Next,
we work on cleaning the fringe, restoring it to its
original color and luster. We then gently groom the rug
pile and fringe. The rug then is individually rapped and
delivered back to your home. We will also help you place
it back to its original position.
